first day of work today, getting $20/day for 10 days (whatever sean). that would equate to $200 for benefit of the mathematically challenged.
well, in the form it states that we are doing:
-create and update products catalog
-key-in data entry
-final product packaging
in real life we are:
-packing 400 bundles of wires into packets (pun NOT intended) and separating them into boxes of 200 pcs each
-arranging a thick stack of reciepts according to their serial numbers
-disassembling extension units and reassembling them in order to make sure that the six metre wire goes into the 4 socket extension and the three metre wire goes into the 3 socket extension
of course the three metre wire was in the 4 socket extension and the six metre wire was in the 3 socket extension at first
80 units disassembled and reassembled, two pairs of screwdriver worn hands
and of course 'we' refers to me and jtek. (ian dont get jealous!)
while doing the sockets, i wondered whether this was what it was like to be at the bottom rungs of the social ladder, manual labour. perhaps even lower than students.. hmm but oh well at least i get 20 bucks a day for it
